The SwissECS is Switzerland's leading conference for climate and energy issues. Every year it attracts more than 600 decision-makers from business, science, politics and the media, all keen to participate in sharing knowledge and information on climate and energy-related matters. Attendees are brought up-to-date with current issues surrounding energy and the climate through keynote speeches, brief lectures on innovation, breakout sessions and networking breaks. This year's conference of 3/4 September 2014 will focus on innovative approaches, concrete solutions and global benchmarks in energy and environmental technology. The SwissECS succeeds the National Climate Forum, which ran annually from 2007 to 2011 in Thun. The SwissECS has been held in Bern every September since 2012.
