The aim of this symposium is to introduce this WGⅢreport, consider, and discuss on issues related to mitigation of climate change. The first half of the symposium introduces the work of IPCC AR5 WGIII. The latter half is a panel discussion on this report and activities in Japan based on findings in this report; the panel consists of presenters, experts from Japanese industries, representatives of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
